My name is Vivien Pong, and I am a junior TCOM major at Ball State University. I have been working primarily on the video production side of the project, covering everything from pre-production, to filming, and to editing footage. Outside of the seminar, I am executive producer for two student-run shows, BSU Tonight and The Reel Deal. Additionally, I work as a video specialist for the Digital Corps.
I feel that this seminar has opened me to many new and different philosophies that I had not encountered before. It has shown me to look at everyday life through a different lens. I have also enjoyed working with students from many different disciplines on this project. After going through the philosophical aspects of this seminar, I feel that I have begun to pay more attention not only to my everyday activities, but also to moments of non-being.
